Light and dark, the river sings!
How are you playing so much?
And the leaves with dew
They are green eyes crying!
What heavenly music
are heard in these parts;
whispers of banana trees
and wild pigeons!
Among the Gallic mountains
each thing is a lyre:
the dove that sighs
It's a madrigal with wings!
¡Claroscuro, canta y el rio! (tenor and piano)
