Old Provençal text written by one of the few published female troubadours, Bielis de Romans, from circa 1250 A.D.  Scholarship is not in perfect agreement:  either this text is written in praise of the Virgin Mary, or it's a love letter to a woman named Maria.
 
The dulcimer part was written for a Songbird Sparrow Chromatic dulcimer (14/13/8).
