60-minute chamber opera based on Franz Schubert's iconic song cycle "Die schöne Müllerin."  This opera mixes my newly-composed music with quotations from 16 of Schubert's original songs, and can be done either with piano alone or with a piano trio (parts available on request). As its roots are in Lieder, it is flexible by its very nature and allows for a range of casting options. Concept and lyrics by Victoria Erickson.
